"I heard that The Jam were looking for another guitarist, auditioned and got the gig. With Paul, I quickly realised that this guy was so dedicated and just lives for music. Nothing was going to get in his way. It sounds clichéd, but music was all Paul wanted to do. I still remember getting our first record deal, getting the first single out. Going down the local pub and your mates putting it on the jukebox….”

 

PAUL WELLER
