Q337_cover-web-teaserPaolo Nutini says he’s trying to expand his musical ambitions with latest album Caustic Love by taking tips from rock’n’roll’s aristocracy.

Speaking to Sylivia Patterson for the cover story of our new issue, Q337 out now, the singer explains he’s adopted Roger Daltrey as a role model.

“I stole his chops for [album track] Cherry Blossom, I’ve started swinging the mic and everything!” he declares, adding he got a close look at The Who frontman when the pair sung together during Nutini’s Teenage Cancer Trust show this year.

“He’s an absolute monster of a man and so unassuming and humble. Absolute hero. And I got a cuddle. What a privilege.”
