Blur's Alex James is teaming up with Jamie Oliver to stage The Big Festival this month (29-31 August) in the Cotswold. To give us a an idea of what to expect from this collaboration of music and food will yield, one of the event's organisers Justin Clark of Taste Festivals has made us a Playlist of some of the acts on the bill.
Laura Mvula – Green Garden "We’re thrilled to have Laura on the line-up this year. She's a great artist. Looking forward to hearing this one live."
Stornoway – Zorbing "Local Oxford band - I expect they'll get a big crowd coming out for their set."
Kelis – Milkshake "She’s got so many great songs and the new album is amazing, but this song is still one of the best. She’s a Cordon Bleu trained chef now so maybe we’ll get her on the cooking demo stage too!"
Jack Savoretti – Take Me Home "Beautiful tune from this talented singer songwriter."
Fatboy Slim – Praise You "This is going to be huge. Everyone will be on their feet dancing. I can't wait to see that."
Kitty, Daisy & Lewis – Going Up The Country "These guys are amazing live. Good ol' fashioned rock'n'roll."
De La Soul – Me, Myself And I "It’s the 25th anniversary of Three Feet And Rising so this one really takes me back. Still so good!"
Norman Jay MBE – Ghetto Disco (Norman Jay Edit) "He’s a legend, isn't he? Really gets the crowds going."
The Cuban Brothers – Mike 4 President "A festival favourite, these guys draw huge crowds every year. Always a good laugh."
Jamie Cullum – I’m All Over It "Perfect vibe for a Sunday evening. Great way to bring the weekend to a close."
