Mark Ronson answers your questions in our new issue, Q344 out today (27 January), and the producer/ DJ admits he had more than just musical reasons for carving out a career behind the decks.
Facing this month’s Cash For Questions inquisition, he admits that his ‘wheels of steel’ skills have compensated for his lack of fancy feet.
“Can I dance? No! At least 25 per-cent of the reason I became a DJ is so I didn’t have to dance,” he tells Q. “It insures you’re in a safe zone. I think 20 years of listening to music but not having to dance is pretty obvious now when you see me on a dancefloor. It’s like a person who has been trapped in a cage their whole life. It’s terrible. “
