A host of new artists have been added to the bill for the year’s All Points East festival. Shaping up to be the event of the summer, the festival will take place in Tower Hamlet’s Victoria Park over two weekends in May and June.
Jägermeister’s JägerHaus stage will combine a mix of established and emerging artists. Headline acts announced so far include Gruff Rhys, Gold Panda, Bill Ryder-Jones, Romare, plus Hollie Cook. Fat White Family and The Vaccines will also be playing DJ sets across the two weekends, with the stage also featuring performances from Gwenno, Cassia, Gabe Gurnsey and more.
Firestone will be hosting a stage. Headlining on Friday 24th May will be Kelvyn Colt, Balcony will top the bill on Saturday 25th with Lava La Rue closing the first weekend of the Firestone stage on Sunday 26th. Other names across the weekend include: Yota, Kaiit, Lou Doillon, John Nicholas, Valeras, Naked Elephant, Vista Kicks, Louis VI and Alice D.
The Rayban Studios X Stage will have different guest hosts across the festival’s first weekend. On Friday 24th May, Peggy Gou will host and perform, with Optimo, Josey Rebelle, Maurice Fulton, DMX Krew (live) and Ge-ology also playing sets. On Saturday 25th, Yala! Records, set up by The Maccabees musician Felix White, will curate proceedings, with the line-up including BC Camplight, Yak, Our Girl, Willie J Healey, Feet and Egyptian Blue. On Sunday 26th, Moxie will host a day of electronica with DJs and producers Joy Orbison, Andrew Weatherall, Octo Octa, Galcher Lustwerk and Paquita Gordon.
