A Band Called Quinn are Singer/songwriter Louise Quinn; producer/drummer Bal Cooke; eccentric electronics and trumpet wizard Robert Henderson and Bass machine Steven Westwater. Kid Loco produced an album ‘Luss’ for them and Alex Kapranos recorded guitar for them. They have also worked with Jarvis Cocker; indie legends The Pastels and Bill Wells. Their music has been used in films by award-winning directors David McKenzie and Penny Woolcock.
Their most recent album, ‘Sun Moon Stars’ features a guest appearance from Echo and The Bunnymen guitarist Gordy Goudie and production by Kid Loco.
Last year they toured Britain with award winning theatre company Vanishing Point’s futuristic update of The Beggar’s Opera. This year they release the soundtrack to the show and new album Red Light Means Go.
