We are Yearner Babies, a World/Folk/Indie 7pc who played 14 festivals in 2009 and were nominated for UK Festival Awards 'Critics Choice Award' for “those special acts who added something a little extra to their festival show….something that sets them apart from other performers as a real crowd pleaser”! Some of our highlights of summer ’09 included playing the Main Stage of The Secret Garden Party, Guilfest and a frolic filled post festivals industry showcase at the O2 Indigo. Our onstage weaponry includes trombone, trumpet, violin and mean moves and if that doesn’t get the crowd going our dramatic story-led songs about the characters of Yearnerland, character paintings and the possibility of an onstage visit mid-song by the characters themselves, such as 'Jonathan Livingston' the giant dancing seagull or Pablo the legendary Mexican villain of Yearnerland, always will! Kids and grown ups love em so! We are currently booking a Tour of Southern England for March to support our single release due the same month and taking on the London Club scene to prepare for another epic summer of fun.
